Things to know:
• If you have skates, a board, or a scooter, bring them! If you don’t, we will have things to share.
• You don’t need to know how to skate to come and have fun!
• Please, please, please bring your own helmet (so it fits correctly!) and pads if you have them.
If you don’t have those, let Helen know.
• You can drop your kid off (there will be plenty of adults there) or you can stay and hang with us!
• You have to sign a waiver before your kids can skate.
Please do that before you come and especially before you leave if you are dropping off.
PS. We love you all very much, but if your kid absolutely can’t stand skating, scootering, and skateboarding, it might make more sense for us to celebrate another way. We would be beyond happy to hang with you in a different special way if you think your kid won’t enjoy this. We’ll have a tiny art station and a dodgeball game, but the majority of the party is skating-focused, so if that sounds like torture to your kid (or you!), please don’t fret, we get it!
PPS. We can’t invite the whole class because attendance is limited for maximum fun and safety. If you have questions about the invite list or if you want to know if your kid’s bestie is also coming, please just ask me, not the other parents. ;)
